LA C# Regular Meeting
Topic – Code Quality
Wish you could sleep better at night? Maybe get a better job? How about help solve global warming and world hunger? This month we’ll explore various techniques for writing better quality code which can do all this, and more! We’ll build on John Kuhn’s talk at SoCal .NET from last month regarding collections for the app programmer. John summarized how the various collection classes and interfaces work but perhaps you were left wondering how to apply them. We’ll jump off from this point and, in an “all code” session, explore some real world examples of using collections, how the public interfaces should differ from internal implementations, and how TDD (Test Driven Development) and MPP (massively pair programming) can result in better quality code, delivered faster and with less stress.
